Andreas Bölte

CEO Aegis Media Central Europe & Africa

In September 2006 Dr. Andreas Bölte took over the role of CEO for the Central Europe and South Africa regions, to which Germany belongs. In this function he is responsible for 23 countries and around 1800 employees. Based in the Central European headquarters in Wiesbaden, he continuously reinforces and promotes the successful expansion of the Aegis Media Group in the region. Since July 2008 he has been on the Aegis Media Global Executive Board in London and has for several years been a member of the OMG board, the association of media agencies within the GWA in Germany.

Andreas Bölte, who has a degree in business (Diplomkaufmann) and a Ph.D. in economics (Doktor der Wirtschaftswissen-schaften) joined the Aegis Media Group in March 2004 as CFO for the Germany, Central Europe and South Africa regions. Before he joined the agency group he worked at Bertelsmann AG for more than 10 years. In his latter years there he held the positions of Vice President and CFO for BMG Entertainment Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Eastern Europe and as Managing Director BMG European Services for BMG Entertainment Europe.
